The Parklands at Sudbrooke gives a thumbs up for the Lincoln Eastern Bypass. After years of planning and construction, the A15 Lincoln Eastern Bypass was finally opened in December 2020.
The 7.5km road has been designed to improve Lincoln’s infrastructure, encourage growth, minimise traffic congestion and enhance the inter-city environment. The bypass starts at a new roundabout on the A15 Sleaford Road and finishes at the A158 Wragby Road. This road connects with the existing northern relief road and is the second-to-last step towards creating a complete ring road around the city.
This means that residents at The Parklands now benefit from easier access to the city centre and southern Lincoln. Where a previous commute from The Parklands to Bracebridge Heath would take as long as 45 minutes in rush hour, this has now reduced as little as 8 minutes. Not only this, traffic in and around the city has been relieved making the journey to and from the centre of Lincoln much more enjoyable.
