Save water – With Lincolnshire being one of the driest parts of the UK it is extremely important to save as much water as possible in the garden. You can add a water butt to your gardening space to save your own rainwater. Not only does this mean you will be saving on your water bill but plants actually prefer the rainwater.
Container gardening – If you have any pots/containers in the garden check them over now to make sure no damage was caused to them over winter. Now would be a perfect time to transfer plants to other areas of the garden or new pots before summer arrives, giving them chance to establish their roots again.

Why not add some pollinator friendly flowers/herbs to your garden to attract the bees but also all these flowers/herbs are edible and perfect for drinks out in the garden. Cornflowers, nasturtiums, borage, mint, rosemary and sage.

Get all those niggling jobs completed like cleaning your patio, cleaning tools, tidying up pots/containers and cleaning furniture.
