Double Awards for The Parklands

The Parklands, Sudbrooke has received two industry awards in just four weeks recognising the efforts and achievements of its core development team.

National body – Local Authority Building Control (LABC) – crowned The Parkland’s main contractor – Boss Developments – as the winner of ‘Small Commercial Builder in East Midlands’. Nominated for the award by its client Jackson Living, Boss has been contracted on the site since 2020 and its team delivered Phase 1 throughout the Covid 19 pandemic. Works have now commenced on Phase 2 with Boss continuing to overcome industry and other economic challenges. The contractor will now be entered into a national award which will be announced early 2023.

Earlier in September, East Midland’s Business Insider Property Awards awarded The Parklands developer, Jackson living with ‘Best Residential Developer of the Year. Recognised for its commitment to not just delivering exceptional houses but to creating social value for the wider community that surrounds them. Jackson Living has invested significantly into improving the adjoining woodlands and continues to develop locally focused initiatives in collaboration with Sudbrooke’s Parish Council.

On receiving the awards, The Parklands project manager, Ben Martin comments: “Jackson Living was hugely honoured to collect the award for ‘Residential Developer of the Year at the East Midlands Insider Awards. Developments such as The Parklands can’t happen without the commitment and collaboration from the entire project team so we were delighted when Boss Developments was accoladed with LABC’s ‘Small Contractor of the Year award.
